Daily & Weekly Prayers

Daily & Weekly Prayers in London

Thamesmead Islamic Centre welcomes all Muslims to join in the spiritual heart of our community—daily Salah and the blessed Jumu’ah prayer. The masjid remains open for all five daily congregational prayers, following accurate local timings throughout the year. Each prayer is a moment to pause, reconnect with Allah ﷻ, and strengthen brotherhood and unity.

Our weekly Friday prayer brings together worshippers from across the area, with a khutbah that speaks to the needs of today’s Muslim. Everyone is welcome in a clean, calm, and respectful space.

Daily Prayers and Jummah prayers (Salah)

Thamesmead Islamic Centre is actively seeking a permanent location. Currently, we are able to offer Jummah prayers on Fridays and Asr prayers on Sundays at our temporary venue. For further information and updates, please get in touch with us directly or follow our Facebook page.

“Establish prayer, for indeed, prayer prevents immorality and wrongdoing. And the remembrance of Allah is greater.”

— Qur’an, Surah Al-‘Ankabut (29:45)

Prayer Facilities: Thamesmead Islamic Centre provides all worshippers with a clean, peaceful, and welcoming prayer environment. The spacious and well-maintained prayer hall offers a calm atmosphere for focused Salah. Dedicated areas are available for men and women, each with appropriate privacy and comfort. Wudu (ablution) facilities are on site and in good condition for daily use. The Centre strongly emphasises cleanliness, quietness, and respect throughout the building, ensuring a spiritually uplifting experience for every visitor, whether individually or as part of the wider congregation.

Stay Updated: Prayer times change regularly due to seasonal timing and moon-sighting. We recommend checking the prayer timetable on our website or subscribing to our mailing list to receive monthly updates.
